Help & scope

Questions before you turn the wrench?

Here is how Atlas uses reviewed service information to help you choose the next safe check.

Beta note: Atlas is currently invite-only. Coverage varies by vehicle and by reviewed content; unsupported or incomplete results are labeled clearly.
What is Atlas?

Atlas is a vehicle diagnostics and repair assistant grounded in reviewed service-manual evidence. It organizes the relevant facts, checks applicability, and shows when the available evidence is incomplete.

Does Atlas support every vehicle?

No. Select a vehicle first to see whether a reviewed manual is available. Atlas will not silently mix information across vehicles, and it will say when a request is outside the current coverage.

Can Atlas give me a definitive diagnosis?

Atlas can turn a symptom or fault code into a manual-backed set of checks. It is decision support, not a replacement for inspection, scan data, or a qualified technician’s judgment.

Why do some answers say “partial”?

“Partial” means the available evidence does not support a complete or unambiguous answer. Atlas keeps that boundary visible instead of filling the gap with a guess.

How should I use torque values or safety-critical instructions?

Confirm the exact model, component, fastener condition, and procedure in the cited OEM information before acting. Brakes, steering, suspension, restraint systems, driveline, and engine-mount work should be checked by a qualified technician.

What information helps Atlas find the right path?

Share the vehicle year, make, model, engine or trim when known, plus the symptom, warning lamp, stored code, and what has already been checked. Avoid sending passwords, API keys, or unnecessary personal information.

Is payment active during the beta?

No. The current beta is free and invite-based. The pricing page describes planned options only; paid checkout is not enabled in this release.
